It revives the pilgrimage path that once linked the 12 old hermitages of Mihwangsa Temple, and it opened in November 2017. It was built by hand without machines, mostly as dirt and stone paths. It is divided into 4 courses: Chulga Trail, Suhaeng Trail, Gohaeng Trail and Haetal Trail. It is open at all times and free to use.

Dalmagodo Trail: a natural path made with sickles, pickaxes, and A-frame carriers
When the trail was built, sickles, pickaxes, and A-frame carriers were used instead of machinery to limit damage to the surrounding landscape. Decks and stairs were placed only where they were truly needed. The trail's theme is a path of seeking truth in search of the daytime moon.
