Express buses run between Gangnam, Seoul and Haenam Intercity Bus Terminal in 4 hours 30 minutes. The Haenam County Office website timetable lists 6 runs a day in each direction, while the Haenam County Culture and Tourism timetable lists 2 for Gangnam and 1 for Dong Seoul. As the two differ, both are shown.

Kumho Express non-stop buses (1 hour 20 minutes) and intercity buses via Naju, Yeongam and Seongjeon run between Gwangju and Haenam. According to the Haenam County Office website timetable, the intercity bus via Naju leaves Gwangju 23 times a day and Haenam 13 times a day.

Saemaeul and Mugunghwa trains on the Mokpo–Boseong Line, which links Mokpo with Suncheon and Bujeon, stop at Haenam Station. Rural buses run between Haenam Intercity Bus Terminal and Haenam Station, and the county office timetable lists, for each bus leaving the terminal, the train it connects to.

Sources differ The 19:17 to Mokpo (#1931 Saemaeul) is listed as 'daily' in the Haenam County Office train timetable and as 'Fri–Sun' in the Haenam Station timetable on the same website. • One 15:17 bus connects to two trains, the 15:47 to Mokpo and the 16:15 to Bujeon (in the official table the bus cell spans two rows).
• The 12:03 row is in the terminal departure column, but its stops read 'Iilsi–Okcheon–Haenam Terminal' (station → terminal direction), and 12:03 also appears in the Haenam Station → Haenam Terminal table. This is as in the official table; as the direction is unclear, check with Haenam Transport.
• The 18:45 row has 'Daily' in the days column and also '(Fri–Sun)' in the stops column.

Kumho Express intercity buses run from Haenam Bus Terminal to Ttangkkeut (Galdu) via Sanjeong and Songho in 50 minutes, and the fare is 4,800 won. The Haenam Transportation rural bus times to and from Ttangkkeut come from the timetable file in effect from 2026-08-19.

• Only buses with a time in the Ttangkkeut column of the file's 'Haenam Hwasan Hyeonsan Songji' table are copied. Buses ending at Sanjeong or Eoran and the Songji branch line do not pass Ttangkkeut, so they are left out.

Daeheungsa Temple is reached by Haenam Transportation rural bus from Haenam Bus Terminal. The Daeheungsa table of the timetable file in effect from 2026-08-19 (departure from Haenam, Daeheungsa, and the times on the way back out) is copied. The file has no Haenam arrival time for buses leaving Daeheungsa.

The August 19, 2026 timetable file gives only the Singi and Yeondong times of buses coming back out from Daeheungsa, and no Haenam arrival time (table below). For the Haenam arrival and the last bus, ask Haenam Transportation (061-533-8826) or Haenam Intercity Bus Terminal (061-534-0881).

• This is the file's 'Daeheungsa' table as it is (empty cells included). Singi and Yeondong after the Daeheungsa column are the times of the same bus on its way back out from Daeheungsa.
• The timetable file has no Haenam arrival time for buses leaving Daeheungsa. The last time in the Daeheungsa column is 19:30. Ask Haenam Transportation when buses reach Haenam and about the last bus of the day.
• The stop in the file is named 'Daeheungsa'; the source does not say whether it is the same stop as Jangchun Stop in the TAGO list below.

Usuyeong is a stop on the Kumho Express intercity bus from Haenam to Jindo. The Haenam County Office website table shows buses to Jindo every 50–70 minutes from 06:55 to 21:40, while the Haenam County Culture and Tourism table lists 3 a day, so both are given. The Haenam Transportation rural bus times to and from Usuyeong come from the timetable file in effect from 2026-08-19.

The buses listed through to the Haenam arrival are the 4 on the Imhado route; the Mokpo and Hwawon routes are listed only to Namni.
