Osan Fishing Experience Village: crabs and sea creatures on the tidal flat
On the wide tidal flat west of the village, you can find mudskippers, fiddler crabs, sentinel crabs, sand bubbler crabs and shore crabs. Where fresh water and seawater mix, the endangered jujube ear snail also lives. There is also an eco-cultural tour where you walk along a wooden boardwalk and observe tidal flat creatures.
Osan Fishing Experience Village: digging clams, riding mud sleds, and mud activities
The activity site runs clam digging (Manila clams and hard clams), wild oyster picking, mud sled rides, and mudskipper catching, plus tidal flat mud packs. If you stay at a guesthouse, you can try a country meal made with seafood from the sea and produce grown by residents. Loess dyeing and a visit to the Namchang 5-day market are also among the things to enjoy in the village.
Osan Fishing Experience Village: local food and sights 20–40 minutes away by car
In the village, you can taste mud flat octopus, octopus soup, ark clams, Manila clams, abalone and assorted raw fish. Daeheungsa Temple, Mihwangsa Temple, the Historic Site of Gosan Yun Seon-do, Ttangkkeut Tourist Site, the Gocheonam reed forest, and the Uhang-ri Dinosaur Museum are 20–40 minutes away by car.
