Oceano Beach: a beach made by covering a tidal flat with sand
This beach was made by covering a tidal flat with sand, so the sand is not very fine. It suits swimming at high tide. Pine trees planted when the beach opened have grown to give shade, and there is a small park where you can play ball.
Oceano Beach: getting there and amenities
The beach is beside Hwawon Oceano Tourism Complex, in front of Oceano Campground. The restrooms are at the entrance by the parking lot, and as you walk along the seaside path, the beach appears on your right. The campground right next door has shower and dishwashing facilities.
