Haenam Forest Arboretum in detail
Haenam Forest Arboretum: a name holding stars, stones, stories, and things to learn
The arboretum's name plays on the 'St' in Forest, the English word for woods. It means a place to enjoy four things: stars (Star), unusual rocks (Stone), stories (Story) and things to learn (Study). Besides the spring flower, hydrangea and autumn flower festivals, it puts on a decorated ice wall in winter. source 1
Haenam Forest Arboretum visitor rules: no alcohol, no smoking, and no pets
Alcohol and smoking are banned throughout the arboretum, and pets are not allowed. You also cannot bring in food, play equipment, or exercise equipment, and you must not dig up and take plants, soil, or stones. Drones cannot be flown, to prevent accidents, and filming must be arranged in advance. source 1
