Choose: the monorail round trip to the observatory only, the monorail up and the deck path down to Ttangkkeut Tower, or the village front without the monorail
- Ttangkkeut Monorail climbs 395 m from Ttangkkeut Village to Ttangkkeut Observatory in about 7 minutes.
- Ttangkkeut Observatory sits on top of Sajabong Peak on Galdusan Mountain, looking down over the southwestern sea from Jindo to Wando, and on clear days you can also see Hallasan Mountain on Jejudo Island.
- If you want to see only the observatory and come back down by monorail, buy a round-trip ticket (general 6,000 won, children 4,000 won; both sources agree). This is the plan with the shortest walking section.
- To ride the monorail up and walk down, go down more than 500 m on the deck path from the observatory to the 9 m-high triangular Ttangkkeut Tower.
- In front of it, Ttangkkeut Tower Skywalk stretches 18 m out toward the sea.
- Part of the skywalk floor is tempered glass, so you can see the sea below your feet.
- If you walk down, you can choose a one-way ticket (children 3,000 won; general 4,500 won or 5,500 won, depending on the source).
- The sources do not say at which end one-way tickets are sold or describe the deck path's stairs and slopes, so it is unknown whether you can go down with a stroller or wheelchair.
- Without the monorail, you can see Maemseom Island, Ttangkkeut Port and Ttangkkeut Marine Natural History Museum in front of the village (paragraph below), or walk up to the observatory on the walking trail.
- You can also use the walking path that runs from the monorail boarding area to Ttangkkeut Tower Skywalk.
- The sources also do not give the length, stairs or slopes of these paths.
