Ganggangsullae Trail (Green Trail) in detail
Ganggangsullae Trail (Green Trail): Course 1, the Uldolmok coastal deck and the transmission center
Course 1 starts at Usuyeong Tourist Site and passes the Battle of Myeongnyang Memorial Exhibition Hall and memorial tower, the Uldolmok coastal deck, the Uldolmok Current Experience Area and the Cheongnyongsan Observatory before reaching the Ganggangsullae Transmission Center. Past the coastal deck, a forest path of about 1.7 km continues, looking down on the Myeongnyang Strait. The stele in front of the transmission center was erected in September 2009 to mark the inscription of Ganggangsullae as World Intangible Cultural Heritage. A Ganggangsullae activity is available with a reservation.
Ganggangsullae Trail (Green Trail): Course 2, Chungmusa Shrine, Usuyeong Port and the Jeolla Right Naval Headquarters fortress site
Course 2 starts at Chungmusa Shrine and passes the coastal deck, Usuyeong Port and the birthplace of Venerable Beopjeong. It continues to Bangjuksaem Spring, the site of the magistrate's office, the Myeongnyang Victory Stele and Manghaeru Pavilion at the Jeolla Right Naval Headquarters fortress site, and to the Usuyeong 5-day market. Chungmusa Shrine was built in 1964 and enshrines the portrait of Chungmugong. From here, a 0.6 km walk along the coastal deck brings you to Usuyeong Port. The Myeongnyang Victory Stele was first erected in 1688. Under Japanese rule it was taken to Gyeongbokgung Palace, and residents brought it back after liberation. It now stands at its original site in Dongoe-ri, Munnae-myeon.
Ganggangsullae Trail (Green Trail): distance, walking time, and hands-on events

From May through summer, the Myeongnyang History Experience Fair runs every weekend.
