What are the hours and fares of the cable cars and monorail in Haenam?
Haenam has 3 rides in all: 2 cable cars, Duryunsan Cable Car in Samsan-myeon and Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car in Munnae-myeon, and one monorail, Ttangkkeut Monorail in Songji-myeon.
Adult fares are 15,000 won for Duryunsan Cable Car, 15,000 won round trip in a standard cabin for Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car, and 6,000 won round trip for Ttangkkeut Monorail. Duryunsan Cable Car runs 09:00–18:00 in the summer season and 09:00–17:00 in the winter season. Haenam County Culture and Tourism lists 08:00–18:00 for April–November and 08:00–17:00 for December–March, based on the departure of the last car up, so call before visiting. Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car runs 10:00–18:00 on weekdays and 09:30–18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car tickets are sold until 17:30, and sales can end earlier on busy days. For Duryunsan Cable Car, the sources differ on the group threshold (20 or more adults, or 30 or more adults) and on the discount for people with disabilities and seniors (2,000 won or 1,000 won). For Ttangkkeut Monorail, they differ on hours and the one-way general fare (4,500 won or 5,500 won), so call to check before visiting. Pets cannot ride Duryunsan Cable Car (guide dogs for the visually impaired can), and they can ride Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car in a carrier.

- On all days, the last run is at 18:00 and ticket sales end at 17:30.
- The operator says that when there are many visitors, ticket sales may end early, 2–3 hours before the end of operation, but this does not mean they close at that time every day.
- After 17:30, you cannot buy tickets, and if you get off at the Jindo-side station to look around, you must take a cabin back before the last run at 18:00.
- If you plan to go late, we recommend calling before visiting (061-535-9900).

The two cable cars have different rules for pets, wheelchairs, and strollers
- Duryunsan Cable Car (061-534-8992) does not allow ordinary pets, but guide dogs for the visually impaired may ride (operator's FAQ and user guide). There is no notice saying that pets may ride in a carrier or that carriers are lent.
- On Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car (061-535-9900), only pets in a carrier may ride, and you borrow a carrier by asking staff at the ticket check (up to 8 kg; you leave your ID when borrowing).
- Large pets that do not fit in a carrier may have difficulty riding, and guide dogs may ride (operator's FAQ). This carrier rule is a notice from Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car, and Duryunsan Cable Car has no such notice.
- Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car's operator FAQ says you can borrow a standard wheelchair to ride, while powered wheelchairs are difficult to take on board.
- Haenam County Culture and Tourism, however, lists wheelchair rental as 'not available,' so the sources differ.
- No source says how many are available or whether you can always borrow one, so we recommend calling before visiting.
